No Cage for our Freedom



She held your hand,
tighter than tight. 

Clenching hearts 
are not able 
for 
this uncertainty. 

Detach
for my freedom. 

In my heart of hearts, 
I can only fly,
when 
I am free to love.  

And when,
I am free to fly. 

Be only you 
in your world. 

Your love is 
and can never be,
a bird in captivity.

    Susan this may be my all-tiome favorite of yours. This one was powerfully emotional! Love can never ever be a caged bird can it?

    Thanks Keith... It came out of nowhere last night. Very emotional, and no, you can never cage it. Such is life and real joy. And imagine all the freedom that comes from that! :)
